Gene Gonzales, doing business as Virtual PC Technician (VPCT), has more than 30 years of experience in diagnostic programming for Personal Computers and related hardware components, low-level adapter board debugging, as well as low-level custom IC validation and debugging.

Gene Gonzales has worked in the computer industry for the following companies: Litton Industries Data Systems Division, Singer Business Machines, Ampex Corporation Advanced Technology Division, Anderson-Jacobson, Advanced Micro Computers, Advanced Micro Devices, Netcell Corporation, Daedalus Systems Group.

While working on ANSI committee X3T9.5 (FDDI), he contributed to the design of the Station Management specification. In order to speed up the specification process, designed a software tool to emulate and verify hardware functional algorithms.

Virtual PC Technician has the experience to detect and isolate the root cause of most system problems including software and hardware problems.

Common problems such as systems infected with virus, Trojan horse, and spyware software can be resolved. Security software and hardware can be recommended and installed.

On-site service can be performed within the greater San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose Bay Area. In addition, remote control service using secure connections provided by GoToMyPC software can be performed just about anywhere.
